Construction has begun on the East side of Centennial Trail! This section will connect Centennial Park to the East Helena trail by Walmart. While there will be a couple gaps due to right-of-way issues and anticipated construction on I-15, the majority of the eastern half of the trail should be completed this fall. Stakeholders and interested citizens will be taking a walking tour tomorrow of the area slated for Centennial Trail West. Organized by S.A.V.E.'s Transportation VISTA Allison Batch, the tour is intended to be a brainstorming session for non-motorized possibilities in the area and a way to get the community excited about the trail.
