A HAWK lands in Billings- High-intensity Activate crossWalK

 This signal functions similar to those at a railroad crossing remaining dark until triggered by a pedestrian. Once activated the signal has four phases beginning with a flashing yellow alerting motorist to stop, then a solid red like a traditional red light, followed by a flashing red that is like a yield sign, concluding with going dark once more. The purpose of the signal is to aid employees crossing to the new federal building in Billings. The new building has limited on site parking, so employees will be taking alternative modes to work and utilizing existing parking infrastructure.

New bike racks promote cycling in Helena as well as local businesses

A  service focused partnership between the Helena College and the Rotary Club of Helena has produced a series of customized bike racks. The new racks promote cycling in Helena, along with the local businesses that feature the ornate racks. Installed racks may be found as such business as the Dive Bakery, Big Sky Bikes, and the YMCA.

Montana Continues Climbing in National Cycling Rankings

The League of American Bicylists has released it's 2013 ranking for "Bike Friendly States."
 Montana is ranked at 39th overall; a respectable climb from 46th in 2012.
